Popular football card releases and inserts

Donruss Football and Downtown

Donruss is known for Rated Rookies. Downtown is a distinctive, sought-after insert found in certain Donruss-family releases; it is not a general name for every Donruss card.

Donruss Optic and Rated Rookies

Optic features chromium-style cards and Rated Rookie designs, with a variety of color parallels depending on the release.

Panini Prizm Football

Prizm offers base rookies and numerous color variations. Silver Prizm is a recognizable non-serial-numbered parallel in many releases.

Panini Select Football

Select features multiple card tiers and a wide range of parallels. Check the year and checklist to identify the exact version.

Kaboom! and Color Blast

These are collectible insert designs associated with particular products and years. Always check the release checklist and card photos.
